LOW COST CIRCUITS & LASER DIODE MOUNTS
In recent years Diablo Industries has served many customers in the fiber optic and telecommunications markets, working to create low cost and high reliability solutions. As a result, we have successfully developed methods to produce high volume thin film products that compete favorably in price with thick film equivalents.
We now manufacture large quantities of low cost patterned and non-patterned circuits, typically used as mounts for laser diodes in the fiber optic community. These parts are typically manufactured from high thermal conductivity AlN or BeO substrates, and can be supplied in conventional waffle packs or on ring-mounted dicing tape for use on automated pick-and-place assembly equipment. Metal schemes can be adapted to easily meet your manufacturing methods. In addition to the conventional gold systems, we are able to produce many parts using aluminum if the need arises.
In addition to these mounts we manufacture the parallel-plate capacitors that often accompany them in use. These capacitors are typically made from BaTi dielectric material, and we stock a number of materials with K-values from below 10 to over 11,000. This allows us to quickly configure a custom part that is exactly what is needed, and often with a shorter turnaround time than "standard" parts from other suppliers. As always, our pricing is competitive.
