DITF Recognized for Excellence by Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems
Minden, NV, September 26, 2011 – Raytheon Company presented supplier excellence awards to 39 companies for their exceptional performance in supporting the company's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business during 2011 at its annual Supplier Excellence Awards Dinner held on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles, Calif.
The winning suppliers represent less than one percent of SAS' supply base. They were chosen for meeting demanding standards in the areas of quality and delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial health. Evaluations of their performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day were also part of the selection process. Awards were presented at the 3- and 4-Star level, and DITF Interconnect Technologies received a 3-Star award.

The Conference and Marketplace for the Photonics, BioPhotonics, and Laser Industry
DITF Interconnect Technology will exhibit at SPIE Photonics West January 24-26, 2012. The DITF booth will be located in the North Hall, #5408. Photonics West is the premiere venue for the photonics and laser market. DITF joins over 1,100 leading companies and will be exhibiting our broad in-house capabilities in support of the optical market.
IEEE MTT-S Microwave Symposium 2011

The 2011 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) will be held in Baltimore, MD at the Baltimore Convention Center, June 5-10, 2011. IMS is part of the International Microwave Week, which includes the RFIC and ARFTG conferences as well as the IMS conference and exhibition. The IMS exhibition dates are June 7-9, 2011.
The 2011 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium is the world's premier microwave conference. It features a large trade show, technical sessions, workshops and panel sessions in covering a wide range of topics. Attendees are interested in wireless communication, radar, RF technologies, high frequency semiconductors, electromagnetics, commercial and military RF, microwave and mm-wave electronics and applications. Attendees represent an international group of engineers and researchers developing technologies to support the microwave and RF industry.

ISO 9001:2008 Certification Received

MINDEN, NV – Diablo Industries Thin Film (DITF), a trusted supplier of thin film interconnects for over 38 years received ISO 9001:2008 certification in March of 2010.
ISO 9001: 2008 provides a set of requirements that must be in place to have a quality management system, regardless of the organization’s size, product or service line, or public or private status. Certification to the standard is voluntary, and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar.
While DITF has always maintained the highest quality standards meeting demanding customer, military, and space requirements, this major milestone accomplishment is further evidence of DITF’s commitment for continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and market expectations for quality and reliability.
DITF’s ISO 9001: 2008 certification covers the manufacture of thin film interconnects in wireless and fiber optic telecommunication, CATV, commercial, medical, and military systems among other critical applications.
